What is live illustration?

Live illustration is a unique way to capture your celebration. Guests are sketched in just a few minutes, creating keepsakes they can take home while enjoying the interactive experience of watching the art come to life. Who doesn’t love a moody corner filled with art supplies.

What type of events do you do?

Weddings, baby showers, birthdays, corporate events, charity events, and whatever you deem a party.

What’s your illustration style?

My style can be flexible based on the client and event, but generally speaking it’s a gesture drawing style which I think really captures the spirit and uniqueness of people, animals and places. I have a portfolio on my website and can share further work examples when we consult.

What is the process?

I will take photos of guests who want to partake so they can get right back to the event. The guests will receive their drawing at the end of the event in a protective sleeve. I can also work in digital program on an iPad if preferred to analogue.

How long does each drawing take?

On average, each sketch takes about 5-15 minutes.

Do guests get to keep their sketches?

Yes! Guests receives their sketch as a personal keepsake from your celebration.

Do you travel outside of New York City?

Yes, happily! Travel fees may apply depending on distance and logistics.

What setup do you need at the venue?

Just a table and chair in a well‑lit area. I’ll bring all art materials.
